Health Benefits of Singing

With the concerns about the dangers of group singing and the spread of COVID-19, we need also to remember that singing provides significant health benefits:

  • Singing is a natural anti-depressant
  • Lowers stress levels
  • Boosts confidence
  • Broadens communication skills

I’ve seen these benefits with my students in years past.  I hope the state of the pandemic will improve to the point that we’ll be able to sing together in music class once again.
